Reading a call back

A call taken and then lost is worth no more than a call missed. Here is the trace it leaves.

What every call leaves behind

Every call arrives in your account with three things: a summary of a few lines, the full transcript of the exchange, and what to take from it, meaning the action that follows when there is one. An appointment booked, a call-back to make, a request to deal with.

The summary is made to be read in ten seconds between two appointments. The transcript is there for the day the summary is not enough: a dispute, a detail of an address, an instruction someone thinks they misheard.

Using it without reading everything

The call list filters, and that is how it earns its keep: the calls waiting on something from you, the ones that ended in an appointment, the ones where Cantya could not answer. That last list is the most useful of the first few weeks, because it tells you exactly what is missing from your answers.

You can also receive calls as they happen somewhere other than your account, on the tools you already use to be alerted. That is set from the connections screen.

Frequently asked

Are calls recorded?
The transcript is systematic. Audio recording depends on your setting and on your duty to inform: it is not on by default.
How long do calls stay available?
The retention period is a setting on your account, bounded by what our privacy policy provides for. Past that, the content is deleted.
Can I export a call?
Yes, the summary and the transcript both export from the call record.
