Connecting your calendar
An appointment booked into the wrong slot costs more than an appointment missed.

Reading availability, writing appointments
You connect from the connections screen of your account, by authorising Cantya on the account that holds your calendar. From then on it reads your free slots so it only offers what genuinely is free, and it writes the appointment once it has been agreed.
If you keep several calendars, name the one that is authoritative for availability. Without that, a slot free in one and taken in the other will be offered, and it is the kind of mistake a caller forgives only once.
The rules to set before the first appointment
The duration per type of service, the minimum notice between the call and the appointment, the travel or reset time between two of them, and the periods where you want nothing booked even though the calendar shows them free. Those are four settings, and they head off most of the appointments you would otherwise have to move by hand.
Finally, check what the caller receives as confirmation, and above all through which channel. Do not count on anything written until you have checked that the channel in question is actually active on your account.
Frequently asked
- Which calendars are supported?
- The list lives in the connections screen of your account, because it moves. It also says there what is available today and what is not yet.
- What happens if the calendar is unreachable during a call?
- Cantya does not promise a slot it cannot verify. It takes the request and raises it as an appointment to be confirmed.
- Can an appointment be cancelled or moved by phone?
- Yes, if you allow it in your rules. Many prefer free cancellation and moves subject to approval.
