What Cantya does, and where it hands over

The limit you find after signing is the one that makes you leave. Better read them now.

It answers, and it calls

Cantya handles the call both ways. It takes your inbound calls, and it dials: follow-ups, qualification, appointment confirmations, calling back a caller who asked for it. The demo on our site calls you, which is the shortest way to hear it.

Outbound calls follow the same rules as everything else: they follow the script you wrote, they stop when the other person asks, and each one leaves its transcript and summary in your account.

A caller who asks to be called back is therefore called back, and you decide whether Cantya or your team does it.

It promises no written message it cannot send

The written channels available depend on your account and on whether they are switched on. As long as a channel is not active for you, Cantya will never promise a caller they are about to receive something through it, because a confirmation announced and never received costs more than one never announced.

So check what is active on your account before building a rule that rests on something written. The connections screen says so.

It does not replace what is not the phone

A reception desk that also handles post, invoicing, case follow-up and people walking in is not replaced by a phone reception. Only the phone half of the job is, and the rest still has to be done.

Nor does it decide in your place. A quote that depends on an inspection, a commercial discount, a clinical or legal judgement: those are answers you can forbid it, and are better off forbidding explicitly rather than hoping it holds back.

Frequently asked

Can Cantya make outbound calls?
Yes. It follows up, qualifies, confirms appointments and calls back callers who asked for it, following the script you wrote. It stops as soon as the other person asks, and every call leaves its transcript and summary in your account.
Can Cantya handle emergency calls?
It substitutes for no emergency service. In a trade with an on-call rota, the usual rule is an immediate transfer to the on-call line, skipping the questions.
Does it present itself as a human?
It does not claim to be one. If a caller asks who they are talking to, the answer is straight, and you can word it yourself in your rules.
