Billing and cancellation
Billing you only understand at the end of the month is bad billing.

What is counted
Cantya bills by the minute actually spoken, inside a subscription with no commitment. A forty-second call counts as forty seconds, not as a whole call. It is the unit that favours receptions with short calls, meaning most small-business receptions, and the one that works against you if your exchanges run long.
The figures are not copied into this page, and that is deliberate: they change, and an out-of-date help page is worse than a missing one. They live on the pricing page, with a calculator that takes your volume and your average length.
Stopping
You cancel from your account, with no notice period to serve and no reason to give. The subscription runs to the end of the period already paid for, and the service works until then.
Remember to undo the forward with your carrier before the stop date if you had set one. It is the only thing that is not settled at our end, and also the only one that, forgotten, would leave your calls ringing into the void.
Frequently asked
- Are unanswered calls billed?
- No. Only time actually spent on the line is counted.
- Is there a monthly minimum?
- No. A quiet month costs what it used, which is precisely what per-minute billing changes.
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- It stays exportable for the retention period set out in our privacy policy, then is deleted. You can also ask for it to be deleted immediately.
